Ennio Morricone since 2000
Morricone is mostly, and justly, known and admired for the music he composed in the '60s and '80s. He's not as prolific as he used to be, but age hadn't diminished his talent; the music he's been composing this century is still amongst my favourite in all film music. So here's a small selection:
