I think aussie films are great, but it's hard to relate to them if you have not lived and australia or understand the aussie sense of humor and culture.
Like lots of films, some work some don't.
English films can be great or tediously horrifyingly bad, and lest we forget some of America's outputs.
Aussie films that make it out and about, though, from what I've seen, are great, Chopper, The Dish, Kenny, brilliant classics.
My fave film is Garden State, but don't hold that against me.
