i mean, i've almost never thought an actress is extremely and so obviously and pronounced ugly before now, but not i'm thinking this. does anyone know how someone so ugly could become an actress star in Hollywood?

sharePersonally, I find she has an exquisitely interesting face to watch on screen, & I enjoy her performances. Top of the Lake was a highlight for me. I think it’s always refreshing to see actors in leading roles who don’t fit into the conventional mold. She’s not classically beautiful by Hollywood standards but I definitely would not consider her ugly. She’s so emotive & unusual looking, I think it makes her quite stunning, actually.
