THE MOST SCREEN CHARISMA???

Soooooo which actors/actresses have the most screen charisma for you?

By that I mean, that sudden impact when you see them on the screen......and you don't necessarily have to like them, just that you are aware of this 'presence' they have onscreen.

This is kinda hard to explain, but I hope someone can give their thoughts on certain people who, to them, have this 'magic' on the screen.

For me, there are way too many......but just off the top of my head, I'd have to say
Paulette Goddard
James Cagney....esp, in the 1930s
Carmen Miranda
Marilyn Monroe
Lana Turner
John Payne
Daniel Craig
Garbo

and many more..again, these are people that impress you on screen; you don't have to be a fan of theirs!!

sorry for the late reply......but anyway.

hmmmmm can't say I agree with all your choices but certainly Burt/Brad stand out for me in that 'category'...as for Clooney? little story: never liked the guy....always came across to me as a smartass......THEN I saw him in "The Descendants"......after about 3 minutes I wasn't watching George Clooney, I was watching the character he was portraying.....he WAS that guy.........which is the sign of a good actor!!!! so while I"m still not 'a fan' of the guy, I DO have a new respect for his acting chops!!!!!

Clooney is a love or hate guy hehe, I don’t think he is like the best actor but he definitely has charisma just see how one of his most successful comercial roles was in a film which required charisma which is Oceans 11.

If he didn’t have charisma he wouldn’t have worked in this part. Danny ocean is is his most charismatic role which made us love him.

In no particular order...

Men: Jack Nicholson, Anthony Hopkins, Christopher Walken, Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Robert DeNiro, Harrison Ford, Denzel Washington, Leonardo DiCaprio, Dwayne Johnson, Michael Jai White, Quentin Tarantino (for the very few times he went in front of the camera).

Women: Angelina Jolie, Jamie Lee Curtis, Angela Bassett, Cate Blanchett, Michelle Pfeiffer, Nicole Kidman, Helena Bonham Carter, Kathy Bates.

That's just some I could think of.
