A La Mer (or something close to that)

I am trying to find a film I saw about 5 years ago. A Mexican man falls in love with a French woman and they have a child. The father is from a fishing village in Mexico and lives on a wooden shack on stilts in the water. When the boy is about 8 the parents have fallen out of love, and the mother says she is getting a divorce, and moving back to France with the boy. She will let the father spend the summer with him in Mexico, then they will both be leaving for good. The film follows the father making memories with his son whom he will not see again.

For the life of me I can't find this movie anywhere! If you have any information about this movie I would appreciate it!
