ATM withdrawal limit raised to Rs 10,000: This might put a smile on your face.

RBI has announced that the cash withdrawal limit from ATMs has been risen to Rs 10,000 per day per card from Rs 4,500 rupees currently.

The withdrawal limits have been in place ever since November 8, 2016 when Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the demonetisation of the Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes.

hope things are getting back to normal.

Thing are normal already. At least as far as I can see.

It was pretty normal in kochi throughout. But a friend of my father who lives in kochi actually sent notes by post to his daughter living in Ludhiana because she couldn't withdraw cash. This was a month ago.

Things are almost normal in kolkata too.
