Good bye everyone here on ICB.. No more message boards from Feb 20th!!

I am mostly sad for Pimpin and Manwithnoname. They used this board more than anybody and they've been here longer than anybody (since Hurdy left).

We should exchange contact information.

I feel a bit sad for myself too, no shame in admitting that. I have gotten some very good recommendations here, and I'll always be thankful for that.

I miss a few posters that I haven't heard from in a long time, and now a few more will be added to the list, that's all.

I'm not saying I didn't enjoy, especially the first several years I was here when aj, QaReZmA and sabrina_mathew posted a lot were some of the most informative years on my life in regards to cinema. I had just started discovering movies outside of mainstream Hollywood/Bollywood (I was a teenager) and their recommendations, threads, discussions was like a never-ending rabbit hole I didn't know existed.

But considering what the board became, I can't say I am going to miss it. I still keep in touch with Anuj through email and facebook and have found much more useful real-life avenues into film. I think the shutting down of this board came at a good time at least for me.

Unfortunate.
