Guess what Star Wars and 2001: A Space Odyssey have in common?...

Other than both taking place in Outer Space.

Game ends after I read the first correct guess.

Rules: One guess per poster until three others posters have guessed (and have guessed wrong); or 24 hours or more have passed. This can either be solved in the first person who answers...or it may go until no further posts are allowed. IF that were to happen I'll either give the answer here (IF still allowed to make edits), or I'll have to give the answer in a new post that's not a part of this one.

The one and only clue you're getting is the first sentence. Good luck!...

Similarly designed ships (especially the shuttlecraft), using modeling techniques first developed for Thunderbirds (and then later Space:1999). These non-CGI techniques were used to create intentional imperfections so that the ships looked "used" instead of the perfect monotone brand new look of ships in science fiction shows before that era.

On IMDb, nobody knows you're a (I said nobody knows!).

No. Even though both are correct (I'm just guessing you're both right) this isn't what I mean. Alright I'll give you one and ONLY one more clue. The answer IS in the "subject line".

"The answer IS in the "subject line"."

I think I might know. The title of both films includes a colon with a subtitle. "A Space Odyssey", "A New Hope".

Both subtitles are three words long, beginning with "A".

reply

No, that's not it.

My dad fell asleep during both of them.
