SPOILERS AHEAD! Maytime, The Ghost and Mrs Muir, and Wuthering Heights all have endings where one of the lovers die and are united with the other who died long ago Naturally they are also young again. Do any of you know of any other movies with this sort of ending?

Thanks for your input! I can't believe I forgot Titanic! That may be because I've seen the first 3/4 several times, but it's hard for me to watch after the ship sinks. Soooo sad! :(

"Bird of Paradise" by Marcel Camus (France, early 1960s) is a possible example, except for two things. The members of the loving couple do not die at very different times, but probably on the same day. And there is the hope (not any surety) that they will meet again in another reincarnation.
