SHN-SF has announced their full 2016-17 season

Broadway productions of Hamilton, Finding Neverland, The King and I, and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.

Fiasco Theater/Roundabout's 2015 Off-B'way production of Into the Woods.

And a brand-new musical version of Roman Holiday, in a pre-B'way premiere.

Plus they usually add in several touring shows and other attractions throughout the season.

Also noteworthy - Fun Home will play at the Curran, which split from SHN management a couple years ago and is run by Carole Shorenstein-Hays.

Dallas is getting several of the same ones, but NOT Hamilton, which makes me ill, but I'm guessing it will be part of our 17-18 season - or some other theatre gets it (there are about 5 theatres that present Broadway tours between Dallas and Ft. Worth).... and I WILL be there!

A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder
Rent (20th Anniversary)
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
Into the Woods
Something Rotten
Finding Neverland

Non-Subscription Add on's are:

The Book of Mormon (for the 3rd time) and
Hedwig & the Angry Inch

That's a good season. Hedwig is here later, in October, but was actually part of the 2015-16 season. SHN has really screwy dates that make up their "seasons".

You will really like A Gentleman's Guide... and Something Rotten sounds fun - I really liked the Tony Awards segment they presented - and it's one I was considering seeing on B'way when I am there next month (but went with American Psycho instead.)

The Playbill link is now defunct since they revamped their site, but I remember reading a piece on there that SHN SF has started consulting with AT&T Performing Arts Center in Dallas. That is probably why our seasons are so similar. I bet you guys won't have to wait long to get Hamilton!

Have seen A Gentleman's Guide in Chicago and Beautiful on broadway, but don't mind see them again at all, as opposed to having to see Newsies, Matilda & Sound of Music, If/Then again. I may actually see If/Then again... and I did see the one new show of this season Cinderella (newish?)
