Define Happy? Is it the ending that is happy or is it Comedy movies?

Some comedies aren't 'happy'.
And I'm not even after a happy ending- that's not what makes a happy movie necessarily (if it were, it could be total doom and gloom as long as the ending is happy)

The fam watched 50 First Dates again the other night since it recently came out on Blu-Ray. We all laughed and cried our faces off. Great sweet and happy movie....as is Bedtime Stories.
