My Nominee for the Best Family Film Ever:

"Akeelah and the Bee." It is sweet without being cloying. It is about real people in real situations. Nobody gets shot, beheaded, assualted, or molested. It is a true classic.

But let me caution you: you will be shedding tears of joy at the ending (which I won't reveal.)

Alice in Wonderland (1985)

It's also my most favorite movie of all time. It's a movie that I grew up with. It's the most faithful to the books. It has the Lion and the Unicorn scene (my favorite part from the book) and it even has that scene with the fawn. A whole bunch of celebrities are in it. Lloyd Bridges, Karl Malden, Ringo Starr, and Sammy Davis Jr. to name a few.

Volker Flenske: (While torturing David) I don't know why you're doing this to yourself!
