Here is a question that I would like to know from true Muppet fans, what is the best Muppets Movie released to theaters and why? And this includes last year's the Muppets movie. The only movies that do not count in this poll are It's a very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie and The Muppet's Wizard of Oz since the movies were released or made for TV. So what is the best Muppet movie that has been released to date in movie theaters and why?
shareI did see the new Muppets movie in a movie theater, but can't remember if I have seen any others, and it depends on how old you are seeing even the first Muppets movie was out in 1979. If you like the first one very much you should see the new one, Kermit mentions the first one during one scene in the new movie. And that sure had some humor in it, I mean who thought of the idea to have Kermit and Fozzie Bear come to a fork in the road, and there is a actual fork in the road. And it is a film within a film, but did they really need to do it that way, is it just me or do you even forgot while watching the movie that it is a movie within a movie?

For me these are the top Muppet films released in theaters & their order/rating can be switched around. I think what makes them the top of the list or cream of the crop are several factors such as writing, actors/cameos, musical numbers, & special effects. Some of the other films just couldn't get to that balance or equations balanced enough & fell short.
