Is Stephen King's 'IT' (the 1990s TV serial adaption) overrated?
A big yes from me. Watching a Disney movie is more scary than this.

shareI like it. The first part when they're kids is slightly better than the new one, in a large part because the horror scenes aren't so exaggerated. I think the upcoming It: chapter two might be better than the old part two though. In the old one they really tried for a grand finale, but it became a bit ridiculous. They probably didn't have the means for it in a made-for-tv production at that time. They should have opted for something smaller/more atmospheric instead. There was no need for a giant spider.
