the day of the beast

I watched this during last year's Oct challenge and quite liked it. I saw the Spanish language version. What's the diff between that and the dubbed version? (aside from the obvious)

i just enjoyed santiago segura's (the metal head) jokes throughout the film when i hear them in English. i got a better idea of his personality that way. i have no problem watching a film with subtitles, i think i liked the dubbed version better because it was my first impression of the film.

I think it's awesome. I think I rated it 9/10. It manages to be really funny and really horrific at the same time. The relationship between the two main characters is immensely appealing.

5/10 to me. I like the characters and there's an interesting social commentary, but other than that I didn't find it as good as it is regarded to be.
