Lake Mungo...
Finally watched this last night. I thought it was excellent. Simple but very effective.
Yay or nay for you guys?

Big yay - Subtly creepy and very sad. The cell phone footage is the stuff of nightmares. Probably my favorite 'After Dark' horror film.
shareDefinitely yay!

One of my favorite horror films of the past two decades. One of the things you have to admit about this film that it's the only remotely convincing 'found footage' horror film out there (though granted that's because it's more of a 'faux documentary' horror than fully found-footage). Besides being creepy it's also a really thoughtful and layered film about truth, loss/grief, and fear of the unknown (it even channels Picnic at Hanging Rock towards the end).
shareBrilliant film, definitely one of the best Mockumentary/Found footage horrors ive seen, another good one is Noroi: The Curse (2005)
shareI loved it! It can be a bit slow, but it's very creepy.

shareYay, creepy as hell!
shareI'm a fan, probably the 2nd best After Dark film that crop behind Dread IMO...7/10 for Mungo.
