She annoys me.

thanks for sharing your opinion.

Would you like to elaborate what annoys you about her etc?

Her jokes are old, ugly and meanspirited. For instance, her recent round of
"fat" jokes about a current celebrity (I don't remember whom) is just a recycling of the fat jokes she did about Elizabeth Taylor a quarter-century
ago. And why did she pick on Taylor anyway--was it because she was known for
being beautiful at least for a portion of her life, and Rivers could never make
that claim about herself? Making jokes about fat people isn't particularly
insightful or witty, anyway; it's pretty juvenile. So is calling people names--
she may believe she's being outrageous and edgy, but it just makes her look
like a miserable old broad. Which she is, of course.

As for her sense of humor, she has none. Anyone who tries to criticize her
for her tiresome vulgarity is subject to her personal attacks. Like many
comedians, she can't take a joke at her expense when it comes from someone
else.

Rivers should pack her garish, tacky jewelry line and her fiberglass face
and move into some retirement community for hasbeen comedians. And take her
talentless daughter with her.

I'm not crying, you fool, I'm laughing!

I think she is wonderful.

She'll probably be dead by the time I get a chance to see her in a show though.. so that sucks.

Her and Phillip Glass...two people I'll never see in a show that I think are great at what they do.

reply

It makes me feel uncomfortable but still produces laughter from me.

reply

I think she is meanspirited and hateful.

reply

Maybe that's the joke itself...

We can't be lost; we don't know where we're going.
All that matters is that we're going.
