Does anyone think a biopic about The Amos N' Andy Show could ever work?

I would be curious to see something like this come to fruition, particularly if it gave a good depiction of the creators of Amos and Andy, Freeman Godson and Charles Correll and the making of the Amos and Andy television series in the early 1950's.

I'd like to see it. If by 'work' you mean a big success...that I doubt.
