The setting is a time of unrest in the distant future.

A group of political protestors have an idea of creating anarchy at a Big Brother Political Rally

with- get this- LASER POINTERS

Laser pointers go a long long way without spreading their beams- they are also used on weapons as targeting aids

Our young still-haired HERO hopes to send a message to THE MAN

Now one laser pointer could cause some paranoia, but fairly easily tracked and stopped

THIRTY laser pointers might really send a message to Our Man when he is suddenly polka dotted in red spots

My question to you is:

Would our "protestors" be better off then wearing "occupy faces" ?

or would that be too graphic?

It all might involve how easily the infiltrators can slip away- or should they just be defiant and fan out if attempts are made to detain them?

Maybe incognito they'd be harder to "get them outta there"

Which scenario do you like best? Occupy masks or incognito?

Well they'll only have to have the pointers at eye level or so-

and spead through the crowd at varying distances-

who's going to be able to detain all those people in a crowd

THE MAN will HAVE to leave- the SS will haul him off the stage

because any ONE of the spots could be a real laser scope sight!

He's TERRORIZED!

If you are asking from the writers' perspective, then write what you want. You don't need the advice of anonymous strangers to tell you what to write.

If, on the other hand, you are asking this question because of your own plans for some radical terrorist agenda against a public figure (as I suspect you are) then no, the idea won't work. They would not be allowed through the gate or the doorway with either masks or with laser pointers of any kind.

By the way, technology exists to instantly detect a laser and pinpoint EXACTLY where it comes from within 1/8 of an inch of where a person is holding it.

In real life, a person with a laser trying to cause harm or fear would be tackled, arrested or worse, before they could get their finger off the button.

I am not going to share if the US Secret Service possesses this type of technology.

Well I could also throw in the whole electronic dog repellers for the attack dogs

which really DO work well when you get the welcome waggin routine from the goons controlling all the real estate in this Haney-hood net age

and they'll try to tell you on Amazon that they don't work, and they may not stop an attack dog, but they often stop the goons dogs from barking at you at least when you're just taking a walk among the limbless Grapes of Wrath and their stupid coach, otherwise

so it's kind of in their face, because, oil well, they're just westpoint flags anyway, and not fit for Charlie Headbo duty....

What harm will a laser do anyway Bif?
