Does anyone think the Star Trek spin off series Deep Space Nine, Voyager, and Enterprise should of had their own feature films spin offs, either as a series of films or a one off project?
sharei can't see studios wanting to invest in such a low appeal demographic. Other than fan-films, I doubt we'll see any more of 'old-trek'.

None of those had anywhere near the ratings of TNG to attract an audience big enough to turn a profit for a mid-big budget film. As it was the TNG films weren't as successful at the BO as the original films.

shareStar Trek has always been better on TV. I see the movies as a two way appreciation thing. For the fans they try to do something cool that might not work on TV. For the actors it's our way of contributing to their retirement plans. In the sense that I would have liked to have seen the actors from the other shows make some bank, yes.
