This June Sanju Is All Set To Give A Glimpse Into The Life of The Superstar

90's was a different time for Bollywood actors. They were given a lot more power than necessary and they were in a lot more limelight. I know you might be thinking that it holds true today as well, but we disagree. And that is one of the reasons we all require a glimpse into the life of Sanjay Dutt who has not only been one of the most popular actors of his generation but also one of the most notorious ones. The glimpse into the world of star kids Bollywood through is story will be unlike any other and it is directed by none other than Rajkumar Hirani who is very close to the actor.

Sanjay Dutt has been a part of every Rajkumar Hirani movie (except for 3 Idiots) and it is no surprise to us that when he decided to make a biopic, he chose the recently released from prison actor as his muse. While still skeptical about how the movie might turn out, we were left shocked when the first look of the movie was released with Ranbir Kapoor essaying in the titular role. The resemblance between Sanjay Dutt and Ranbir Kapoor playing Sanjay Dutt is uncanny. You could put both of them side by side and not tell them apart. This goes to prove how much the director and the actor have worked towards this role and we should give the make-up person a nod here.

The teaser went ahead in trying to lift the heavy curtain off of what we have all been wondering. What is Sanju actually going to cover? Is it an ode to the 90's superstar at the prime of his life and stardom? Is it about the time when he was imprisoned? Is it about the time where he is trying to regain his foothold in the industry? Guess what, it is about all of that and much more. The director has promised that the movie in no way glorifies Sanjay Dutt's faults. It is an honest (as honest as they can be) depiction of the highs and lows of this star's life.

The trailer is all set to release this week and we cannot wait to see what else this movie holds. We hope to catch a glimpse of the other actors as well since it would be amazing to see how close they are to the famous personalities they are playing. There are a lot of people in Bollywood who were not a fan of this movie and even asked the director to refrain from mentioning certain things and yet it has gotten us more curious about the movie. Apart from Ranbir, the biopic also stars Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, and Vicky Kaushal. The biopic is directed by Rajkumar Hirani and is slated to release on 29th June 2018.

Summary: Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju releasing on 29th June has us excited because of the excellent look reveals they have done over the past week. We get to catch a glimpse into the different era of this superstar and we can't wait to see what it unfolds.
