but seeing it in theatres yesterday has got me pondering do folks really want originality? because it seems to me the same folks claiming to be tired of remakes and sequels are the same ones walking out on original films while muttering under their breathe "Well that sucked can't wait for transformers part 12. fast and furious part 40. and paranormal activity part 54" I like all movies original stuff. sequels. remakes. comic book adaptations and video games adaptations I just like going to the movies in general I could care less if the movie sucks. if its good. if its a remake. sequel. original. comic book. video game. etc

The beginning 'until the part where they try to fix the ship was really good. From then on, it was just another Hollywood film, which is disappointing. They could have made it SO much more!
Maybe they are saying those things because it was a Sci-fi film? They thought it would be something close to Transformers...
