When will they get rid of “intimacy coordinators”?
The intimacy coordinator role (usually women because apparently no one trusts men?) is such a useless job that was spawned from the metoo movement designed to “choreograph intimate scenes and ensure safety to actors.”
Safety to actors?
Why?
In case a fist fight breaks out?
Studios and even some actor/actresses have already started saying that they’re not only unnecessary but also disruptive to the process.
A few producers have stopped hiring them and ignored any backlash knowing it will go away.
At what point do you think all studios will just kick them to the curb industrywide to save money?
