This may be a stupid question
I should probably know the answer to this, but I've never understood it. Why are some people able to have both film careers and TV careers? Some names that come to mind are Thomas Lennon, Tim Allen, the late John Ritter, and Jennifer Aniston (and pretty much all The Friends cast?) It seems like it's usually one or the other for actors. Granted, TV is different than it used to be. Lots of actors find success from getting their start in big time Neflix productions. Actors that used to be in movies and later star in network television are considered "washed up." I've never understood this mindset, it's still just a job. Gotta make a living somehow
