Yes, the reports by news portals have confirmed the decision of Shahid Kapoor taking paternity leave to be with Mira Rajput and baby. With wife Mira Rajput in her final trimester now, the doting husband has decided to slow down on the work front. He mapped out his work schedule in a proper way that will allow him to take an off during September.

Currently, Shahid Kapoor is working on the movie ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ and prepping for Arjun Reddy remake.

The Arjun Reddy remake will go floors in mid-August. Sources claim that the actor will shoot for a month before taking off for paternity leave. Meanwhile, the producers of Batti Gul have supported the actor’s decision to stick to Mumbai for film’s promotions and have cancelled the other city tours.

Bhushan Kumar who is producing both films told that Shahid Kapoor is a committed actor and believes in striking a balance between his personal and professional life.
