I was bored with this film. I did see it a long time ago so was thinking a re watch would be good and maybe I would enjoy it more a second time around. I am very much looking forward to "The Beguiled", also directed by Sophia Coppola.
Was it just lately that you watched it?

Yeah it totally didn't feel like a Bill Murray movie at all. It was a slow build up to nothingness, if I remember correctly. Didn't she win an academy award for this though? On her name perhaps?
Yes it won Best writing/Original Screenplay- Sophia Coppola, and 2 other noms and then won best picture at the Golden Globes. Crazy amount of awards on the awards page for it.
In my memory it was Claire Danes and not Scar Jo. Opps.
It had sme great moments, but yeah, it felt stretched to me
