The Exorcist III Director's Cut has its own IMDb page

Under its original title, "Legion"

Seems kind of strange that the Director's Cut would get its own separate page, but it was highly anticipated by fans for a lot of years.

I enjoyed it for what it is. I guess the biggest concern is that the restored footage is at a much lower quality than the rest. Yes, Father Morning and the exorcism scene is completely cut out of the DC. Brad Dourif is truly mesmerizing in the added footage, however, all of Jason Miller/Father Karras is cut. (just realized I should probably re-post this review on the Legion page)

You are welcome. I have not read The Exorcist novels, so I am unfamiliar with that character but I know which scene you are talking about. The DC does have flaws but it flows much better storywise and is definitely worth a watch. It's pretty incredible that a director's cut was even put together considering that most of the original footage was long believed to be destroyed.

The House of Exorcism, the producer's cut to Lisa and The Devil, has also got its own page due to a request from fans of the original that were frustrated by the confusion since the two cuts are so much different. Maybe something along these lines happened to The Exorcist III/Legion.

Interesting. I didn't know director's cuts could get their own pages.

Cool.

It's a scary movie, although nowhere near as frightening (I'm talking for days after watching it) as The Exorcist.

I can't wait to discuss it on the message board!
