I prefer some Golden Globe decisions over some Oscar decisions.

Al Pacino won a Golden Globe for Serpico in 1974 but would not win an Oscar til 1993 for his role in Scent of a woman.

Thanks to the category best actor in a comedy Morgan Freeman won a Golden Globe for Driving Miss Daisy in 1990. But he would not win an Oscar til 2005 for his role in Million Dollar Baby.

Brad Pitt won a Golden Globe for 12 Monkeys in 1995. But would not win an Oscar til a few years ago for Once Upon a time in Hollywood.
