Well, saying the 1990s and 2000s is different from saying the 20th or the 21st century. I said 2000s because I meant all of the 2000s, from 2000 to now. But the 21st century (like the 20th) started in 2001 (and 1991).

It's fu*king weird and annoying, I agree.
