What would be the consensus of the biggest "locks" this year?
At the Oscars of course.

I will count La La Land for BP and Damien Chazelle for BD as locks. Nobody is locked in Best Actor or Actress, and I don't think Ali is locked, but he is comfortably in first. Viola Davis is the only lock in the acting categories.
Moonlight is locked in Adapted Screenplay, nothing is locked in Original Screenplay.
Zootopia's a lock for Animated Feature.
Toni Erdmann should be locked for Foreign Film.
La La Land will have quite a few technical categories, not sure which ones, but Editing for sure, probably Sound Mixing and Editing, and it's got to be winning for a original song, but then again they might split votes, so probably not locked there.
La La Land for best song
shareLa La Land is an ultra lock for Original Score.
I'm always home. I'm uncool.
La La Land for best director, best cinematography, best original song, and Viola Davis.

Two songs, however, are nominated for La La Land. Doesn't that mean it could split the vote? I'm not sure I can agree that's a lock for that reason, counterintuitive as it is.

I agree, it could be a surprise for that reason.
Audition is a tag-along nomination not a serious contender. City of Stars has been winning all season. It's as much of a lock as Skyfall was.

The name alone is about Hollywood and will probably make the 80 year old white men voting smile, so that's also a good point.
