I see that IMDb is planning on discontinuing the message boards. I think this is the very worst idea ever. I enjoy the movie message boards as much as anything else on the site, I examine them whenever I visit a title, I've contributed to them, and I think the site will be losing something very important when they're gone!!!!!!!!!!
shareIts madness. I rarely used them, but still feel the loss. They are such an import place for film specific information and much more. The individual film message boards felt timeless, as though the information there would follow the film forever.
shareIt was a bad idea but it has been done.
Personally I think IMDB will slowly die because why use the website now.
