An American thriller

(Probably) American film, from the late 60s to late 70s. The one scene I remember is a (blonde?) criminal, possibly on the run, visiting a young shy looking woman wearing glasses in her flat.
They sit down at the table, he asks her if he has a boyfriend, she says 'sort of' and he says 'either you do or you don't' so she says 'well, no'.
Then something happens that makes her go for the exit door and he starts pointing a gun at her and tells her to move away from the door or he shoots her dead. 'Lock the door and give me the key'.
Then she gives him the key and says something like 'so that's why you wanted this place, a room with a view'.

It probably is not one of the most well known ones.

Rome Adventure (1962) ?

01:04:19 : -Do you have any rooms with a view?. -Do I have any rooms with a view?.
01:04:24 : A room with a view. With a view.
01:04:27 : The room with a view. The honeymoon suite is yours.
01:04:32 : -Here we go again. Now, don't let him. -But I didn't--
01:04:35 : I didn't ask for the honeymoon suite. All I asked for was a room with a view.
01:04:40 : Oh, you think you cannot afford a suite, maybe, but you are wrong.

Nope I don't think so, it must have been a thriller or crime film (don't remember the exact dialogue).

Maybe "The Enforcer" (1951) ? I watched several months ago, so I don't remember exactly.

reply

No it is not from the 50s. Thanks for trying though, hehe.

Three days of the condor (1975)

You think so..I doubt it, I watched Condor some years ago and it didn't ring a bell. I could rewatch it of course.

Robert redford kidnaps a woman with a gun and they and up back at her flat. They sit in her living room talking and there's talk of a boyfriend. Could be the one πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

I watched some clips now and probably not that one. It was a 'badder' guy than Redford from what I recall. Thx anyway.
