French film about parents who lost their son and then wanted their younger son to be an exact copy of him

First of all, it is not “Eyes Without a Face” or “Godsend”.

A friend of mine was talking to me about a film that seemed interesting, but she couldn’t remember the names and I couldn’t identify the film.

The details (as she provided):

- the film is French and possibly black and white
- the main characters are a married couple
- they have a young son (with blonde hair)
- the son died (she thinks it was a car accident, but isn’t sure) and their try to make their younger son to be an exact copy of the deceased one
- she has seen the film over a decade ago, meaning it was made in 2010 or (very likely) much earlier
