US or Canadian production film, Romantic comedy, 90s/early 00s.

I have only seen the end to this movie

At the end, it’s the typical: girl gets with the guy but then the girl breaks the fourth wall by trying to end the movie prematurely before they kiss. The guy is protesting this and the girl is like “you know I never watch the ending to movies”. The guy finally convinces her to play out her “happy ending”. They kiss, and then, THE END

What movie is this???

A shot in the dark here, but could it be "Three to Tango" (1999). I don't remember how the film ends though.
