Movie name please SOLVED

A co-worker has asked about a movie (year unknown) which he would like to see again. He describes the story of a school class camping trip with a male and female teacher. At the camping site a couple of villains try to kill them. However due to the ingenuity of the students - they foil their attempts.

He can't give any actors names, as he is from S America. (doesn't even know Matt Damon, but knows him as the Bourne Identity guy) probably only knows tom cruise due to his reputation.

That's kind of vague, but it sounds like he might be talking about a pretty cool Australian film called "Fortress", starring Rachel Ward.

THAT WAS MY FIRST THOUGHT...FORTRESS WAS RECORDED ON A VHS AFTER HOME ALONE WHEN I WAS A KID..HOME ALONE WOULD GO OFF AND CREEPY OUTBACK MURDER WITH SANTA SUITS AND SHIT CAME ON AND TRAUMATIZED ME.
