Saw this flick a few years ago. Just a few scene’s that I remember. A robot or machine or something dressed like a human going around killing people. I think it was mentioned this robot was in some time travel from the future.

Obviously sound very much like one of the terminator movies, More specifically the first one. but I will be very surprised if you're actually looking for one of those.

Chomsky got it: it's most likely the original "The Terminator" from 1984 but definitely one of the Terminator movies. The original sounds closest (and in my view is the best of the Terminator series).

There is another scene that shows Schwarzenegger emerging [spoiler]so it is clear he is made of metal (with skin covering the metal to make him look human;[/spoiler] I will see if I can find that.
