1990s carjacking movie
This one is hard to find because when you do a search for carjacking a couple of post-2000 movies with this theme show up.
But this 1990s movie started with a middle aged white guy driving through an urban neighborhood and getting into a minor accident caused by a couple of carjackers. He was reluctant to get out but felt he was obligated to exchange information with the other driver and promptly got held up. A couple of black guys got out, one of them pointing his gun at him "upside down" and saying something like "do you want me to shoot your ass, is that what you want me to do," and he was forced to give up his car, leaving him stranded without his wallet or cell phone.
He ended up spending the day with some decent black people who took him in and told him of their own problems, and the moral of the story I guess was don't be so quick to judge.
I don't remember the actor's name, but I'd seen him before. Average weight, thinning hair, maybe around 50 at the time.
Any ideas?
